WHAT IS THE CITIZEN OF THE YEAR ALL ABOUT?

Each year many service organizations in the Village of Carol Stream are fortunate to have hundreds of diligent volunteers provide countless hours of service.

The Carol Stream Citizen of the Year Committee invites these organizations to recognize the extraordinary  members of their organization and nominate them in one of the following categories:

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
SPECIAL CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
JUDGES RECOGNITION

The Citizen of the Year nominees are Carol Stream residents who have volunteered their time in one or more community groups during the past year. Special Citizen of the Year nominees are also Village residents and have volunteered for five straight years in the community.
